Our Story
Kids Shoes Australia was born out of frustration and determination. Like many Australian parents, our founding team spent countless hours navigating confusing size charts, comparing brands across multiple websites, and trying to figure out whether those expensive school shoes would actually last the term. We knew there had to be a better way.
Our journey began in 2024 when a group of Sydney-based parents – all with backgrounds in either retail, healthcare, or digital media – started sharing notes on children's footwear. We discovered we weren't alone in our struggles. Finding reliable information about kids' shoe quality, proper fitting, and foot health was surprisingly difficult. Most online content was either sponsored by shoe companies or too generic to be useful.
So we decided to create the resource we wished existed. Kids Shoes Australia brings together genuine expertise with real-world parenting experience. Our team includes a certified podiatrist who specialises in paediatric foot development, retail professionals with decades of experience in children's shoe fitting, and parents who have collectively bought hundreds of pairs of kids' shoes and learned what works (and what definitely doesn't).
